Robert and Julie were delighted to discover that their song "Kentish Prayer" was placed third in the international Christian Song competition 2005. The competition was run by www.christianbands.co.uk where Julie has a mini-site and you can hear many other quality christian artists of all genres. You can hear Kentish Prayer, which will be on the forthcoming album on this website as well as on snowdropmusic.com. Julie's performance at this year's Gospel Entertainment Music awards in November will be televised by the GOD channel. The original date for broadcast was incorrect and we will let you know as soon as we have the date from the GOD channel. On 5th December Julie was invited to take part in an Anti-Poverty reception at the House of Commons. She was singing a song composed by Joan Armitrading alongside other Gospel Artists. It was a real honour; lots of celebrity spotting and fascinating as well as enormously encouraging that MPs and other people of influence are keeping the issue of Make Poverty History alive. Julie has been invited to be vocalist on the worship team this year at Spring Harvest. This will be alongside worship leader Steve James in Skegness, from 3rd-7th April. Julie's FAIRTRADE CONCERT in Burgess Hill was a great evening and attracted over a hundred people. The message of Fairtrade was mixed with music and a relaxed atmosphere. The organisers called it an "inspiring evening". |
