Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to visit Snowdrop Music which is the home of singer/songwriter Julie Hall and her collaboration with Robert Eggleston, poet and lyricist.

With roots based in the folk/acoustic tradition, Julie Hall is a trained violinist and singer whose first album "Bluebells Rising" was released in 2004.  This received excellent reviews in the music press and gained nominations for the BBC sponsored GEM awards in two catagories; Best female artist and best single, for "Even an Angel."  A second album "Days of Wine" was released in 2006, and the latest, "Balcombe Bridge" was released in March 2009.

An experienced performer, Julie studied voice and violin at the Royal Northern College of music and was the lead singer for the band at the National Baptist Assembly in the International Arena in Cardiff,as well as taking part in the Baptist World Alliance congress in July 2005 at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham.  Since then she has performed and led worship at events all over the UK including Spring Harvest and events in Jersey, Poland and Sweden in 2008 and has been the support for artists such as Waterson Carthy and Andy Flannagan.
